Falena Studio abrió sus puertas en agosto de 2024 con una idea simple: crear un espacio donde el arte y la identidad se encuentran en la piel. Somos un equipo de artistas apasionados, cada uno con su propio universo — del japonés clásico al anime, de las molas gunas al surrealismo — unidos bajo el mismo techo en el corazón de Bella Vista, Ciudad de Panamá.
Trabajamos en un ambiente privado, seguro y profesional, con altos estándares de higiene aprobados por el MINSA. Cada diseño es único. Cada tatuaje, una experiencia íntima, consciente y artística.
Fundadora y artista principal de Falena Studio. Especialista en arte japonés clásico, neoriental full colors, cover-up y restauraciones de tatuajes. Multipremiada en convenciones de Panamá — sus sleeves completos, piezas de espalda y transformaciones son experiencias artísticas únicas.
Especialista en anime y manga con blackwork de alta precisión. Su universo va de Zoro a Hisoka — cada personaje capturado con energía y trazo limpio.
Artista único en su especialidad: las molas gunas llevadas al tatuaje en full color. Fusiona la geometría ancestral Guna con el microrealismo contemporáneo.
Su trabajo vive en los límites del surrealismo. Experto en red ink y blackwork expresivo — cada pieza parece sacada de otro plano de consciencia.
Especialista en tatuajes temporales de henna. Disponible para bodas, quinceañeras, festivales y eventos especiales.
Carry the history, vibrant colors, and worldview of one of Panama's richest indigenous cultures with you forever. At Falena Studio we translate the traditional textile art of Mola Guna into unique tattoos, respecting the symmetry, geometric patterns, and deep connection with nature that defines the Guna Yala people.
Ashbel is a Guna tattoo artist, born in San Blas (Guna Yala). His grandmother taught him the art of the mola in textile as a child — today he brings that same tradition to skin, at Falena Studio. It's not just a style: it's real cultural heritage, passed down generation to generation.

Somos tres amigos que vinimos a hacernos un tatuaje conmemorativo de un viaje en bicicleta por Centroamérica. Paulette nos atendió de maravilla y nos encantó el resultado. ¡Muy recomendable!
Muy buena atención, el personal es super chevere, super profesional. Si es tu primera vez te explican todo, se preocupan por tu bienestar y el de tu tatuaje, tienen todo limpio, organizado, utilizan todo nuevo. Definitivamente lo recomiendo e iría a hacerme más tatuajes ahí.
El lugar super acogedor, la atención 100/100 te explican los cuidados, tienen paciencia y el ambiente super agradable. Sin duda volveré allí!! Full recomendado.

One of the most special memories from my time in Panama. My tattoo was done by Paulette, and she absolutely exceeded my expectations. I got a sloth-inspired mola tattoo, and the design captures the spirit of Panama beautifully while still feeling unique and artistic. The attention to detail, line work, composition, and overall execution were incredible. Since it was my first tattoo, I was very selective about who I trusted, and I’m genuinely so happy I chose her. The entire experience felt professional, comfortable, and creative from start to finish. If you want a meaningful tattoo while visiting Panama, I highly recommend her work. I’ll carry this memory with me forever.

Went to Falena Studio specifically to get tattooed by Paulette because I really loved her Neo Japanese style, and she absolutely crushed it. The tattoo was also a cover up of an older piece, and she took a ton of time designing something that would fully cover the old tattoo while still looking natural and flowing well. It doesn’t feel like a cover up at all anymore, it feels like the tattoo was always meant to be there. Paulette doesn’t speak English, but she still went completely out of her way to communicate through a translator, ask questions, make changes, and really understand what I wanted. I honestly appreciated that effort a lot because you could tell she genuinely cared about getting it right. Super solid experience overall. Clean studio, great atmosphere, and insane attention to detail in her work. The line work, shading, and overall composition came out better than I expected. Really stoked on how this piece turned out and I’ll definitely be going back to Paulette for more work. Highly recommend her if you’re into Neo Japanese tattoos or need a quality cover up.
Amazing experience!!! 5 stars. Despite the language barrier, my experience was smooth from inquiry all the way to completion and aftercare. They were very gentle, very understanding and very clear about what we wanted, pricing and how to take care of it. She even followed up a few days later to ensure we were feeling alright and healing fine. By the way, it was a group of 4 people and two of us were getting tatted for the first time. Highly recommend.
